FROM THE EUROPEAN TOUR WEBSITE
A total of 81 qualifiers have booked their places in this week’s six-round Qualifying School Final Stage after progressing from the Second Stage, held at four venues across Spain.
Sweden’s Joakim Lagergren continued his dominance at El Valle Golf Resort with a closing round of 69 to finish seven shots clear of his closest rivals.
Lagergren’s fourth successive sub-70 round capped a fine individual display as the Swede finished on 18 under par, with the Scottish duo of Callum Macaulay and Alan McLean finishing in a tie for second place on 11 under par after shooting respective rounds of 71 and 69.
France’s Guillaume Cambis and England’s Luke Goddard led 20 successful qualifiers from Costa Ballena Ocean Club.

Sluiter was in danger of losing the playing privileges he earned at last year’s Final Stage, where he finished in 11th place, but will now hope to finish inside the top 30 again next week after booking his place at PGA Catalunya Resort courtesy of a closing round of 68.
His 16 under par aggregate total saw Sluiter finish two strokes clear of England’s Ben Evans (68) and Denmark’s Morten Orum Madsen (65), who finished in a tie for second place on 14 under par.
The final three places were taken by South African Warren Abery, Frenchman Baptiste Chapellan and England’s Paul Dwyer, who saw off Francis McGuirck in a play-off after all four players had finished on three under par.
Italian Andrea Perrino and South Africa’s Allan Versfeld led 20 sccessful qualifiers from La Manga Club.
Challenge Tour Member Perrino and Versfeld both finished on 15 under par after carding respective rounds of 70 and 71 over La Manga Club’s South Course.
