UNHAPPY HAT-TRICK FOR EDINBURGH AND EAST OF SCOTLAND

ALLIANCE - MONSOON RAIN KOs WEST LOTHIAN MEETING

Bad weather struck us for the third week in a row with the outing at West Lothian being abandoned today with only 27 of the 64 strong field completing their round. Monsoon-type weather early afternoon flooded most of the greens in a matter of minutes.
With Bathgate and West Lothian having been victims of the difficult weather conditions we are currently looking at options of re-scheduling the competitions.
This side of 2012 our only options are November and with reduced daylight it is perhaps only practical to re-schedule one of the events. A suitable venue will also need to considered.
In the meantime we jave positive thoughts for a break in the weather for the next outing at Liberton next Wednesday.

Edinburgh and East of Scotland Golfers' Alliance
