GOLF COPY AND SCORES CREDIT CAL CARSON GOLF AGENCY FROM COLIN FARQUHARSON IN BELFAST | Scott Henderson (Kings Links) and Hayston's Stephen Gray share the lead on two-under-par 69 at the halfway stage of the pounds 44,200 Carnegie Invitational in the grounds of Skibo Castle near Dornoch. It looked as if Aberdonian Henderson was letting a good score slip away when he bogeyed the 14th, 15th and 16th after following a bogey at the opening hole with birdies at the second, fifth, sixth and eighth. But he raised his game in spectacular fashion to get an eagle 2 at the 17th. Gray, making money hand over first on the Tartan Tour this season, birdied the first and 15th, bogeyed the 16th but birdied the 17th to cbe alongside Henderson in the pole position overnight. They two shots clear of Alan Tait (Marriott Dalmahoy) who does not play nearly as regularly as his peers in the Scottish PGA ranks. CARNEGIE INVITATIONAL Carnegie Links, Skibo Castle.
