325-a-side TOWN GOLF MATCH AT ST ANDREWS

Around 650 golfers will take part in Saturday's annual "Town Match" between the Royal and Ancient Golf Club of St Andrews and other local golf clubs. Held every year on the second Saturday of the R&A Autumn Meeting,competition,  golfers will compete in pairs over St Andrews'  Old, New, Jubilee and Strathtyrum courses. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club is aiming for an unprecedented third win in a row after previously recording just two victories in the fixture's 98 year history.
