HENRY WONG GETS IT RIGHT AGAIN AT BALLUMBIE CASTLE
Wellsgreen assistant professional Henry Wong followed up last week's shared victory by winning today's Midland Golfers' Alliance golf competition outright at Ballumbie Castle Golf Club on the northern outskirts of Dundee. Wong scored a four-under-par 65 for an emphatic seven-shot win from joint runners-up, both from the host club, professional Lee Sutherland and +1 amateur George Finlay. Brian Bruce, who plays off six at Downfield, won the handicap prize with a net 68.
