NEWMACHAR THROUGH TO PENNANT FINAL


Newmachar are through to the final of the men's Aberdeen Pennant League. They beat Banchory at a neutral venue, Portlethen, 3-2.
The other semi-final between Portlethen and Royal Aberdeen, to be hosted by Deeside GC, has been rearranged for Sunday, August 27 following a bad-weather postponement.
The final will be played at Peterculter GC on Sunday, September 3 when the tee will be reserved from 3 to 4pm.
