GREAT SCOTT! JAKE WINS BUCKPOOL MEN'S TITLE AT 16

Jake Scott, only recently turned 16 years of age, won the Buckpool Golf Club men's championship at the weekend with rounds of 73, 68, 69 and 69 for a total of one-under-par 279 over the par-70 course.
It is believed to be one of the lowest totals in the Buckpool men's championship history.
Scott, pictured,  broke par in a men's medal when he was only 13 and held the Buckpool course record for a spell at the age of 15.
In the last few weeks he has also won the junior club championship at Buckpool and defended the junior club championship at Cullen, sporting a plaster cast for a broken foot for the majority of the rounds.
He is also challenging for the junior titles at Duff House Royal and Strathlene so Jake is a busy boy indeed!
In April this year, Scott shot three under par from the back tees at Castle Stuart, which makes one wonder just how low the high-class field will score in next week's Barclays Scottish Open over the links.
