ROSS BELL WINS MIDLAND ALLIANCE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Midland Golfers Alliance held the JTC Kitchens Express Championship over 36 holes at Arbroath Links in Angus. Winner of the Championship was Ross Bell (Downfield, +3) scoring 68, 67 for an excellent 5 under par total of 135, 3 shots ahead of Alistair Webster (P, Edzell).
 Winner of the Handicap was local Lindsay Cargill (Arbroath, 5) with a total of 143. The McQueen Shield, played over 18 holes was won by Bob Redpath (Scotscraig, 5) with a net score of 71.
