PETER SENIOR LEADS US OVER-50s TOUR EVENT

Australian Peter Senior leads the field by one shot with one round to go in the 54-hole Allianz Championship on the US Champions (Seniors) Tour at the Old Course, Broken Sound, Boca Raton in Florida.
Senior shot a wind-taming 67 in the second round to take up the running at 11-under-par 133.
He had had Canada's Rod Spittle ahead of him on the leaderboard for most of the second day but birdied the long 18th to grab the pole position.
There was a two-shot swing at that last hole of the day with Spittle bogeying it for a 67 and 134.
Former US Ryder Cup captain Tom Lehman, who had a 69, joined Spittle in a tie for second place overnightHale Irwin (68), Russ Cochran (67) and Mike Reid (69) are sharing fourth place on 136.
Jay Don Blake, Friday's leader at eight-under, dropped back to 7-under and is tied in seventh place after two rounds.
Defending champion Bernhard Langer shot a 72 on Saturday and was seven strokes back.
