Two students born in England - although one has opted to play golf for Scotland - and members of the University of Missouri men's golf squad provided a 1-2-3 finish to this week's WSU Snowman Getaway 54-hole college tournament at Whirlwind Golf Club, Chandler in Arizona.
Freshman Emilio Cuartero from Spain was the winner by five strokes from Mizzou team-mates William Harrold, from St Albans, and Stuart Ballingall, pictured, a former Scotland boy international although he was born in Norwich.
Ballingall is the third highest ranked Scot behind James Byrne and Michael Stewart in the RandA World Amateur Golf Rankings.
Not surprisingly, Missouri, playing in their first tournament of the second half of the 2010-2011 college golf season, won the team title by 25 shots.
