Lockhart tames wind at Alloa Alliance

The first of this week's two Midlands Golfers' Alliance meetings was held at a very windy Alloa Golf Club today.
Ladybank assistant pro Alan Lockhart continued his good run of form by winning the scratch prize with a score of level par 71.
The handicap section resulted in a three-way tie between Mike Niven (Alloa), Chris Westland (Alloa) and Jim Stevenson (Dunfermline) with net 73s.
The team prize, sponsored by Ken Thomson, was won by Pitreavie professional Paul Brooks' team of Chris Westland and the sponsor Ken Thomson with a score of 62.
