Lockhart wins first Midland Alliance of season

The Midland Golfers’ Alliance held their first meeting of the 20010/11 season today  at a sunny Thornton Golf Club in Fife.
Fife players dominated the prize list too. Ladybank assistant pro Alan Lockhart continued his recent, pre-break Alliance form to take the first scratch prize by four shots with a three-under-par score of 67.
First handicap was a shared affair with John Black (Scotscraig) (4) and Simon Andrews (Ladybank) (10) both returning net scores of 71
