Alps Tour event reduced to 36 holes - Hume misses 18-hole cut
The Alps Tour event - the Uniqa Financelife Open - in which Perthshire pair Gavin Dear and Steven Hume are playing has had to be reduced from three to two rounds. There was no play today because of flooding on the Diamond course.
A cut was made, limiting Sunday's final to the best 40 players after 18 holes.
Dear was OK with his 70 for a share of fifth place at the end of first round but Hume was right out of luck.
He was in joint 41st position after a Friday score of 76 - so he has missed out on playing in the final round. No pay day for Steven from this one.
