James Byrne ranked World No 10 as Jin Jeong is new No 1

Australia-based South Korean Jin Jeong, the new British men's amateur champion, has risen in this week's RandA World Amateur Golf Rankings to be the new No 1 - a rise of nine places after beating James Byrne from Banchory in the 36-hole final at Muirfield last Saturday.
Byrne himself has gone up eight places to a highest so far ranking of No 12.
The new top rankings are:
1 Jin Jeong (South Korea) (+9).
2 Peter Uihlein (US) (-1).
3 Russell Henley (US) (no change).
4 Patrick Reed (US) (+1).
5 Bud Cauley (US) ) (-3).
6 Andrea Pavan (Italy) (+2).

8 Nick Taylor (Canada) (-4).
9 Scott Langley (US) (+3).
10 Romain Wattel (France) (+1).
11 Tommy Fleetwood (England) (-2).
