Irish boys beat Dutch 10-2 to snatch U-16 quads title
Ireland produced an astonishing last-day performance to snatch the Under-16 quadrangular title from under the noses of Wales and Scotland.
The Scots beat table-leaders Wales 7 1/2-4 1/2 but Ireland hammered the Netherlands 10-2.
That meant that the Dutch boys, Scotland and Wales all finished with 4pt apiece for two wins out of three.
The tie-breaker was individual games won and the Irish 1opt last-day haul gave them a +25 tally, compared with Wales +19.5 and Scotland +18.5
Netherlands finished bottom of the table with 0pt and +12.
