Arnott has an inward half of 29,

but he's not one of leading trio

Hayston professional Stephen Gray, the last man to finish, joined Gareth Wright (West Linton) and David Orr (East Renfrewshire) in a three-way share of the halfway lead at the Tartan Tour's Kerr Investments Classic 36-hole pro-am at Dumfries & Galloway Golf Club today.
All three shot five-under-par 63s but lead by only one shot from a bunch of five of 64, James McKinnon (Irvine), Robert Arnott (Bishopbriggs), Edward Thomson (Senit Associates), Lee Harper (Archerfield Links) and Greig Hutcheon (Banchory).
Gray had bogey free halves of 32 and 31 with birdies at the second, third, fifth, 12th and 17th.
Orr also kept a blemish off his scorecard with birdies at the first, second, fifth, sixth and 16th in halves of 31 and 32.
Wright, a Welsh international in his amateur days, did have one bogey - at the 15th - but he compensated with an eagle 3 at the 546yd fifth and birdies at the sixth, ninth,14th and 18th in halves of 31 and 32.
The top three did not claim all the scoring honours - Robert Arnott had an inward half of 29 in his 64. After an outward half of 35, he had birdies at the 13th, 16th, 17th and 18th for a four-under-par inward half.
