Craig Lawrie proves a chip off the old

block in Peterculter Stableford

Paul Lawrie's older son Craig won the first event of the new Stableford competitions which are going to be part of the Paul Lawrie Foundation Junior Tour this season.
Deeside Golf Club member Craig and G Colleran both had 44pt to their credit. Craig won with the better inward half.
Although it was quite a windy day at Peterculter Golf Club on Sunday, the Stableford points totals were impressive when you consider that a haul of 36pt is equivalent to a net par round.
