Another top-10 finish in Spanish

South Wales-based Scot Paul Doherty achieved another top-10 finish on the Spanish Hi5Tour in the Altorreal European Open tournament.
Doherty, pictured right, a former Scottish boys' match-play champion at Dunbar, had rounds of 67, 70 and 75 over the par-72 Altorreal course, in the Murcia region, designed by Dave Thomas.
Paul's older brother Jack Doherty finished on 214 with rounds of 71, 72 and 71.
Elliot Saltman tied for 15th place on level par 216 with scores of 72, 73 and 71.
McDonald Ellon tour pro Ross Cameron had three rounds of 74 for 222 and a share of 37th place.
Zack Saltman, the youngest of the three brothers, tied 39th with scores of 75, 72 and 76 for 223.
There was a four-way play-off for the title and top prize, won by Sweden's Niklas Bruzelius after a quadruple "deadheat" on seven-under-par 209.
