Dornoch exile Jimmy Gunn failed to beat the halfway cut in this week's Gateway Tour Desert Winter Series event at Palm Valley Golf Club, near Phoenix, Arizona. Gunn had rounds of 74 and 71 for a one-over-par tally of 145. Only those who scored two-under-par 143 survived.
American Kent Eger leads at 12-under-par 132 with a pair of 66s.
