David Drysdale makes cut in South Africa

Dunbar's David Drysdale survived the halfway cut in the Dimension Data pro-am tournament at Gary Player Country Club, South Africa but he is 11 shots behind the runaway leader, South African Deane Pappas.
Pappas has scored 65 and 66 for a 13-under-par halfway tally of 131 and is five shots ahead of the second-placed Darren Fichardt (67-69).
Drysdale scored 70 and 72 for a share of 37th place on 142.
The other Scot in the field, Glasgow-born Alan McLean, failed by one shot to beat the cut. He scored 68 and 78 for 146.
