Brian Mason wins Midlands Alliance
by six shots with a two-under 69

Drumoig professional Brian Mason continued his recent good form to win this week's Midland Golfers' Alliance competition, the JTC Kitchens' Team Competition, at a cold and windy The Duke's Course, St Andrews.
Brian had a superb, two-under-par score of 69 to win by six shots.
Winner of the handicap prize was 10-handicapper Chris Westland (Alloa) with a net score of 74. Chris also helped his team of professional Paul Brookes (Pitreavie) and Hugh Hunter (Alloa), playing off 10, to win the team prize with a score of 64.
