Greig Hutcheon has 84 in horrendous
conditions near Gothenburg

From Michael Gibbons, Challenge Tour Press Officer
Scotland’s European Challenge Tour professionals endured some horrendous conditions during the first round of The Dubliner Challenge in Sweden, with Scott Jamieson the leading Scot on the leaderboard at three over par.
With swirling winds gusting to 35 miles per hour at the Hills Golf Club on the outskirts of Gothenburg, it was an exhausting battle for every man in the field, with England’s Rob Harris producing a best of the day, three under par 68 to lead by a stroke.
Steven Mackie is a shot behind Jamieson, but it was a hugely disappointing day for Greig Hutcheon, one of Scotland’s leading Challenge Tour players currently in 23rd position on the Rankings The Aberdeenshire man posted a 13 over par 84.
Raymond Russell struggled to a seven over 78, with Eddie Thomson two strokes further back.
