Last year's Scottish boys' match-play champion Paul Ferrier (Baberton) set a cracking pace in the Cameron Corbett Vase, this weekend's SGU 72-hole Order of Merit event, at Haggs Castle Golf Club, Glasgow.
Ferrier, pictured right on the day he won the Scottish boys' championship trophy in 2007, shot a six-under-par 66 to lead by two shots from North-east challenger Kris Nicol (Fraserburgh) and Steve McEwan (Caprington).
