England send Palmer, Keenan and

Hemstock to Chiberta Grand Prix

PRESS RELEASE FROM ENGLISH GOLF UNION
Jason Palmer, newly-crowned Midland Open Amateur Champion, is one of three players selected to represent the English Golf Union in the annual Chiberta Grand Prix in Biarritz, France, from July 10 to 13.
Palmer, 23, from Leicestershire, will be joined by Farren Keenan from Surrey and Devon’s Billy Hemstock.
Palmer’s Midland Open victory came at Sherwood Forest and followed solid finishes in the Lagonda Trophy and the Midland Qualifying. ]Keenan, 23, has also tasted success recently with victory in the Berkshire Trophy. Having graduated from the University of Texas last year, the Sunningdale golfer is enjoying a successful season with four top 10 finishes prior to his Berkshire victory.
Hemstock, 24, a former Devon champion, is a member of the England A Squad who is also hitting the high spots this year. He finished runner-up in the Duncan Putter, seventh in the Lagonda Trophy and reached the last 32 of the Spanish Amateur.
