Cameron Peck is US boys' champion
Cameron Peck, a 17-year-old from Olympia, Washington State, is the new US junior (boys) amateur champion. He had a runaway 10 and 8 win over Evan Beck, also 17, from Virginia Beach, Virginia in the 36-hole final at Shoal Creek, Alabama.
Peck won six of the first eight holes and never looked back.
Beck struggled off the tee at the start of the day, hitting just two of the first seven fairways. Peck hit six of his first seven and one-putted eight times in the morning 18.
