WOLSTENHOLME LOSES TWO-HOLE LEAD
AND GOES DOWN UNDER

Former title-winner Gary Wolstenholme was surprisingly beaten by one hole by Australian Michael Raseta over 18 holes in the first round of the rain-hit New South Wales amateur championship.
Normally the ties are over 36 holes but because recurring rain played havoc with the stroke-play tournament which leads into the match-play, the early ties are being played over 18 holes.
Wolstenholme was two holes up after 12 holes but lost on the last green.
Welsh prospect Zach Gould beat England's Matthew Baldwin by one hole after being one down on the 16th tee.
England's Matthew Cryer beat Australian Brent Watson by 5 and 3.
Ross Kellett from Colville Park who was on standby as first alternate was not called into action.
