Keir McNicoll jumps to joint seventh

Carnoustie's Keir McNicoll jumped ten places, from 17th to 7th, in the star-studded 59th Azalea Amateur Invitational at the Country Club of Charleston. His three under par 68 put him six shots off the lead, held by Luke List, who won the Jones Cup at Kiawah Island last month.
The tournament, which is full of past and potential US Walker Cup players, will conclude today.
