NORTH-EAST ALLIANCE

GRAEME McINNES (62) WINS AT BRAEMAR

Murcar Links tour professional Graeme McInnes set the North-east Alliance 2006-2007 season rolling with a sparkling three-under-par round of 62 to win the Braemar meeting by three shots.
He covered the outward half in only 30 strokes, thanks to birdies at the third and ninth, and then birdied the 13th, 14th and 18th in 32 home, which included bogeys at the 10th and 17th.
Paul Cormack (Inchmarlo Golf Centre) and Kemnay pro Ronnie McDonald were joint runners-up on 65.
