US MINI-TOUR NEWS

LATE BOGEYS COST KIRKPATRICK SOME DOLLARS

David Kirkpatrick, a former Scotland amateur cap from Edinburgh, finished joint 11th on one-under-par 287 in the latest event on the Grey Goose Gateway Tour in Florida.
David had rounds of 73, 69, 70 and 75 over the PGA National and Hammock Creek courses at Palm Beach to end up nine shots behind the winner of the $25,691 top prize, Jimbo Fuller.
Jimbo beat Akio Sadakata after they had tied on 10-under-par 278.
Fuller's rounds on this very competitive mini-touor were 64, 70, 76 and 68 while Sadakata scored 69, 67, 71 and 71.
Three late bogeys cost Kirkpatrick a couple of thousand dollars. He dropped shots at the 12th, 15th and 17th to earn $3,187.
