Bernd Wiesberger won the Scottish Open to secure a sixth European Tour title after beating Benjamin Hebert in a play-off at The Renaissance Club.
Overnight leader Wiesberger was two under par for the day and 22 under overall with France's Hebert having finished with a nine-under round of 62.
But the Austrian triumphed in the third sudden death hole at the 18th.
Hebert, England's Andrew Johnston and Italian Nino Bertasio qualify for the Open after finishing in the top 10.
But Johnston's countryman Lee Slattery and Welshman Jamie Donaldson miss out on places at Royal Portrush after finishing one shot further behind.
Northern Ireland's four-time major winner Rory McIlroy finished tied for 34th after a two-under 69 took him to 13 under.
Calum Hill and Scott Jamieson finished best out of the 15 home favourites, both carding five-under par rounds of 66 on Sunday to both finish on 15 under, which earned a share of 26th place in a low-scoring tournament.
That will give Hill a welcome confidence and financial boost, given the Kinross player normally competes in the Challenge Tour and only got in the field this week because of coming through a qualifier.

No place like home for Kemnay's Kiran

Nolan as he wins Jaffrey Cup

Kiran Nolan (Kemnay) used his local knowledge to great effect in winning the North-east District's match-play Jaffrey Cup over his home course today (Sunday).
Nolan is pictured receiving the congratulations of Kemnay Golf Club captain Yvonne Moir.
In the morning semi-finals, Barrie Edmond (Bon Accord) beat Ellis Gray (Meldrum House) 6 and 5 while Nolan overcame Clark Brechin (Portlethen) 4 and 3.

In the afternoon final Nolan started with five straight birdies to be five up. However, two bogeys, a birdie and a par saw him out in 34 and his lead reduced three holes at the turn. Edmond had had pars and one birdie on an outward half of 35.

Both players parred the 10th. Then Edmond birdied the 11th to get back to two down.
The 12th and 13th were halved in par before Kiran went on to birdie the 14th and 15 to win the match 4 and 3.

Murrayfield man Ni wins North of Scotland open amateur title by five shots after leader Simmonds slumps

Lothians player Andrew Ni (Murrayfield) scored possibly the best win of his career todate when he triumphed by five clear strokes with an eight-under-par total of 280 in the North of Scotland open amateur stroke-play championship at Nairn Dunbar over Saturday and Sunday.
Ni, a student at New Mexico University, has been making a name for himself on the US college golf circuit. Now he has carried that form with him back home and up to Nairn.
Another Lothians competitor Tom Simmonds made most of the running, leading by seven shots after 36 holes and by five after the third round.
But Simmonds, who had set a cracking pace with a pair of 67s, slumped to a final round of six-over-par 78 and was one of five players who shared second place on 285.

Day Three Report
José Manuel Carriles posted a final round of five under par 67 at PGA Catalunya Resort to secure his maiden Staysure Tour win on home soil at the European Tour Destinations Senior Classic.
The result marks the Spaniard’s first victory since his triumph at the 2003 Challenge Tour Grand Final and books his place at The Senior Open Presented by Rolex at Royal Lytham and St Annes from July 25-28.
Carriles, who came through Staysure Tour Qualifying School for the third time in January, started the final day one-shot behind overnight leader Chris Williams but ascended to the top of the leaderboard with his third birdie of the day at the 12th hole.
A fantastic fairway bunker shot to set up a birdie on the final hole sealed the deal for the 56-year-old, who hails from Pedreña in northern Spain, the birthplace of the late Seve Ballesteros
He finished the week on 13 under par, three shots clear of the South African, who signed for a one under par round of 71.
‘’When I was walking down the 18th with a two-shot lead I had so many thoughts,’’ he said. ‘’I was thinking about The Senior Open, about my family and all the hard work that goes into winning on the Tour. Even though on the final green I knew I had two putts to win it was nice to roll in the birdie putt for the victory.
‘’The course is great, really fantastic, and to win in Spain in front of my friends and local supporters is really special.
‘’To have to go back to Qualifying School and then come out and get my first win means a lot and hopefully, I will no longer need to worry about whether I have a place in the next tournament!’’
New Zealand’s Greg Turner, who played alongside Carriles and Williams in the final pair, recorded a three under par round of 69 to finish in a tie for third, alongside Argentinian Mauricio Molina and England’s David Shacklady, who chipped in on the last to sign for a final round of 69.
Englishman Philip Golding fired the lowest round of the day, a bogey-free round of six under par 66 to jump up the leaderboard into tied eighth alongside the 2017 European Tour Destinations Senior Classic champion Santiago Luna.
Carriles moves up 25 places in the Staysure Tour Rankings into seventh position, with José Coceres continuing to occupy the top spot.
The Staysure Tour now travels to Germany, for the WINSTONgolf Senior Open from July 19-21.

Day four report
Steve Tiley claimed his first win on the European Challenge Tour with this wire-to-wire victory at Le Vaudreuil Golf Challenge.
The Englishman, playing his 11th season on the Challenge Tour, finished runner-up to last year’s all-the-way  champion Richard McEvoy, but went one better this time, recording a final round of 72, one over par, for an 11 under par total to seal a debut victory.
After opening rounds of 64-68-69, the 36-year-old held off the challenge from compatriot Richard Bland to become the third successive Englishman to lift the trophy at Golf PGA France du Vaudreuil following in the footsteps of McEvoy and Aaron Rai.
“It sounds fantastic. I came close last year and finished runner-up to my good friend Maccas, so it was nice to seal the deal this year,” Tiley said.
“I was feeling nervous on the first tee. I’d slept on the lead for the last two nights and that is always hard because you wake up thinking about the different scenarios.
“It’s a tough tee shot on the first hole and I didn’t want to put myself in the bunker or up the lip of it. It was a nervous start and I was pretty nervous all day, but I slowly got into the round, playing a few holes without nerves helped a lot.”
Tiley’s final round featured four bogeys alongside three birdies as he clinched the victory, however, it was his short game which helped him claim a memorable triumph at a favourable venue.
“I think I only missed five putts inside ten feet all week, so I holed out really well, which was great,” he said. “There were a lot of key saves today, but the birdie on ten was pretty good and that helped me take charge a little bit.
“Early in the round the chip on the eighth was good and that steadied the ship. The greens are so small that if you miss them you end up in the rough, which is very difficult, because sometimes the ball will fly and sometimes it’ll end up short. But I played that chip nicely and holed the five-foot putt.”
Bland recorded a final round of 68, three under par, to finish runner-up to Tiley, while home favourite Grégory Havret, aiming to become the first French winner of the event, finished a further stroke back in third place on a nine under par total.
With his win, Tiley races up the season-long Challenge Tour Rankings from 126th to 11th. While Bland returns to second position in the Rankings with Havret jumping to eighth place from 25th.
