Stuart McKendrick, a scratch amateur at Dunkeld and Birnam Golf Club), won this week's  Midland Golfers’ Alliance competition meeting at Alyth Golf Club. Played in good weather and with the course in great condition, McKendrick shot a superb, five-under par 65

In the handicap section Chris Westland (Alloa) won with a net 67 off 10 of a handicap.
