Scotland beat Ireland 8.5 to 6.5 and England thrashed Wales 12-3 on Day 1 of the men's home internationals at Lahinch Golf Club, Ireland.

Day 2's matches will be England v Ireland following by Scotland v Wales so, without wishing to appear cocky, it looks like a Scotland v English title decider on Day 3
