RHYS SIM WINS PLF MATCH-PLAY FINAL
by
Rhys Sim saw off the challenge of Ruaridh Fenwick as he chalked-up a 4 and 3 win, thanks to picking-up three-holes-in-a-row on the back nine of the Paul Lawrie Foundation match-play final.
The pair had been neck-and-neck through the turn but Sim put his foot on the accelerator through the middle point of the back-nine and never relented.
Over the weekend, Rhys posted wins over Ethan Main (4 and 3), Owen Walker (2 and 1) and Daniel Aitken (2 and 1)
