Joe Smith wins Midland Alliance at Edzell with a four-under 67

 

Last week the Midland Golfers’ Alliance held a meeting at Edzell Golf Club. The course was in very good condition and there was some great scoring. Two-handicapper Joe Smith (Leven Thistle) shot a four-under-par 67 to win the scratch prize by two shots.

There was a three-way tie for the first handicap prize with John Snaddon (Alloa) (handicap 13), Stuart Baker (Crail Golfing Society) (4) and David Snodgrass (Crail Golfing Society) (5) all scoring net 68s.
