Gavin Hay rakes in the £s as well as the putts at Skibo's Carnegie Invitational

Gavin Hay (Mearns Castle Golf Academy) made money hand over visit in the Carnegie Invitational which ended at the Skibo Castle golf course at the Carnegie Club today.
Hay, from Grantown on Spey, had rounds of 73 and 64 for a total of 137 which topped the pros' table and earned him £5,500. Jason McCreadie (Largs) was runner-up with scores of 75 and 65 to earn him £4,000.
Hay's team topped the team scores with rounds of 121 and 119 for a total of 240 - four shots ahead of Paul O'Hara's combine (122+122=244) and six ahead of the third placed Neil Fenwick team who scored 124 and 122.
The first three pros earned £500 each in the team event.
