TEAM OF FOUR NAMED TO PLAY FOR GREAT
BRITAIN AND IRELAND IN THE ASTOR TROPHY

Four players have been selected to play for Great Britain and
Ireland in the Astor Trophy, which is taking place at Royal
Colwood in Canada from August 28 to September 1.
Olivia Mehaffey and Lily May Humphreys were automatic
picks based on their position in the World Amateur Golf
Ranking™ and they will be joined by Women’s Amateur
champion Emily Toy and Alice Hewson, who won the
European Ladies Amateur Championship last weekend.

The Astor Trophy tournament is held once every four years
between teams from Australia, Canada, Great Britain and
Ireland, New Zealand and South Africa. Each country is
represented by four players and each country contests
foursomes and singles match-play in a round-robin format.
