SUDDENLY IT'S ALL COMING UP

ROSES FOR PETERCULTER TEAMS

PETERCULTER have ended a 20-year wait to win a Kincardine and Deeside Pennant League trophy... by winning all three in the same year.

After clinching the Scott Trophy earlier this year, the men won the K and D Pennant Shield on home soil and moments later the ladies completed the treble.

Simon Robb, Dave Eaton, Charlie Macdonald and Derek Townsley combined to muster the best net three counting score aggregate of 212.
Tarland, who could only field three players, were second on 224 with Portlethen third on 225.

The Peterculter women’s team, who carded a 222 total, won by seven shots from Aboyne with Portlethen one shot further back on 230.

Sheena Gordon, Liz Clark, Pam Fraser and Karen Soden completed the hat-trick for Peterculter after the two previous men’s successes.
