Murcar Links beat Banchory in Maitland Shield final

 

Murcar Links won the Maitland Shield by four holes in the final against host club Banchory this evening.

 

Murcar's Bryan Innes and Terry Mathieson finished three holes to the good against Roy Black and Marc Lawrence while Anthony Bews and Corin Stewart beat Iain Taylor and Ben Read by one hole.

 

It is Murcar Links' sixth capture of the trophy since 2008.
