On Sunday, March 3 Stonehaven Golf Club held its junior prizegiving. Along with family and friends it meant standing room only in the clubhouse with over 80 in attendance.
A team competition was held beforehand in very windy conditions which was followed by a family carvery and then on to the prizegiving.
Many of the juniors received their certificates for completing the Club Golf scheme and, of course, to the victors came the spoils with brightly polished trophies handed out.
Chris Taylor, the club's junior convener, along with his many volunteers has built up the junior section and introduced many varying competitions to maintain interest and it was great to see the juniors and their families enjoying their day.
