Shannon through to last eight of Spanish
championship with two 3 and 2 wins
Torphins-based Shannon McWilliam (Aboyne) is through to the quarter-finals of the Spanish women's international amateur championship at Zaudin Golf Club, Seville.
She scored 3 and 2 wins over Isobel Holpfer (Austria) and Sophia Zeeb (Germany).
McWilliam now plays England's Bel Wardle who beat top seed Pauline Roussin Bouchard (France) to reach the quarter-finals.
