Shannon beaten in Spanish semi-finals

Aboyne's Shannon McWilliam beat England's Bel Wardle by two holes in the quarter-finals of the Spanish women's international amateur golf championship but then lost by 3 and 2 to Mahe Candice (France) in the semi-finals at Zaudin Golf Club, Seville.
Sunday's 36-hole final will be between Candice and Italy's Alessia Nobilio, a 4 and 3 winner over compatriot Benedetta Moresco.
