Crolla's inward 29 earns T C Jordan Trophy at Winterfield

On what seemed  like a Summer day, 61 East Alliance members tried to get their name on the T C Jordan Trophy, which had to be decided on the best inward nine holes out of three players on net 63 over the par 65 (32-33) course at Winterfield.
The trio were Danny Crolla of Kingsknowe, Peter Louden of Glencorse and Willie Miller of Falkirk Tryst.
 A fantastic inward four-under-par of 29 ensured Danny Crolla would have his name on the T C Jordan Trophy.
The top three handicap prizes were shared between Danny, Peter and Willie.
On the scratch front, where there was some very good scoring, Joe Bryce of Bathgate came out on top with a four-under-par 61 to pip Neil Henderson of Renaissance Club by one shot.
Joe had an interesting front nine of level par 32 with only two pars but four bogeys, two birdies and an eagle 2 at the third.  However, an inward 29, including five
birdies sealed top scratch prize for Bryce.
Second and third scratch prizes went to Renaissance Club's Neil Henderson on 62 and Ross Noon on 64.
Order of Merits see no change in the Handicap top three
but second and third swop places in the Scratch section:
