Hannah Darling's par-matching score of 71 earned her a share of 15th place at the end the first round of the Spanish women's international amateur championship at Zaudin Golf Club, Seville today.
Fellow Scots Chloe Goadby and Connie Jaffrey are in joint 47th place after a pair of 74s.
Aboyne's Shannon McWilliam had a disappointing four-over 75 which sees her start the second round in joint 62nd position. She birdied the second but then bogeyed the seventh, ninth, 11th, 15th and 17th.
