Thomson clickety-clicks to win Alliance at Boat of Garten

Bruce Thomson (Inverness) won Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Association fixture at Boat of Garten with a four-under-par round of 66, two shots ahead of the second-placed home professional Ross Harrower. at the head of a field of 85 competitors.
Thomson had seven birdies, one double bogey and a bogey in halves of 32 (two under) and 34 (two under). It was his first win since the competition at Hopeman on February 24.
Harrower had three birdies and one bogey in halves of 33-35.
