JOEL WINS NORTH ALLIANCE WITH A 63 AT GARMOUTH AND KINGSTON

 

David Joel (Inverness) won Saturday's North Scottish Golfers' Alliance fixture at Garmouth and Kingston Golf Club with a four-under-par round of 63, reaching the turn in par 34 but coming home in four-under-par 29.

Graham Murray (Moray) was runner-up with a 64.

Joel's inward half included eagle 2s at the 11th and 14th. He also birdied the third and 12th. He had bogeys at the first and 13th.

Murray also covered the inward half in 293 but took 35 shots for the outward half.
