Five Things to Know
·       Brooks Koepka, the 2018 US PGA Tour Player of the Year, holds a four-shot lead after 54 holes in his first start of the 2018-19 PGA Tour Season. The World No. 3 has secured the largest 54-hole lead of his career after carding a 5-under 67 in the third round.
·       Koepka will move to No. 1 in the Official World Golf Rankings with a win at THE CJ CUP @ NINE BRIDGES on Sunday.
Koepka would also take over No. 1 with a solo runner-up as long as Justin Thomas doesn’t win. Koepka entered the week ranked No. 3 and has never been ranked higher than No. 2 in the world.
·       Scott Piercy, the 36-hole solo leader, fell into T2, four shots back of Koepka, after a third-round even-par 72.
·       Defending champion Justin Thomas made eagle at the last for an even-par 72 after making a quadruple bogey on the par-4 14th hole during the third round. The 2017 FedExCup champion sits at 1-under 215, 12 shots back of Koepka’s lead entering the final round.
