Double blow for hosts Royal Aberdeen in Northern Counties Cup

Host club Royal Aberdeen's two teams were beaten in the third round of the Northern Counties Cup at the Balgownie links this morning.
Cruden Bay ousted Royal Aberdeen 1 while Royal Aberdeen 2 were knocked out by Banchory 1.

Moray 1 had a comfortable win against Orkney 1 by 13 holes while Moray 2 beat Newmachar 2 by 3 holes. One of the favourites, Nairn, were beaten on the last green by Forres
