Alan Ross lowers Deeside course record to 65
Alan Ross broke the Deeside Golf Club course record with a 65 in the first round of Saturday's club stroke-play championship.
The previous course record of 66 was set by Benjamin Henderson in this year's club championship qualifying competition.
New course records have been set because of the lengthening of the third hole.
Ross went on to win the stroke-play competition by four strokes with a second round of 71 for a total of 136.
