Scots boys' poor start to European team championship

Scotland had a disastrous opening day in the European boys' team golf championship at Kaskada Golf Resort in the Czech Republic.
After the first of two stroke play qualifying rounds, the Scots are lying last of the 16 participating teams with a total of 378, 24 strokes behind leaders Spain.
Only the leading eight teams after the second stroke-play round will make up the championship match-play flight.
Only five of the team's six individual scores count daily. Calum Scott's 80 was the Scots' non-counting first-round score.
The other Scots' scores were:
Greg Dalziel 75
George Heath 75
Ruben Lindsay 76
Jack Broun 76
Connor McKinney 76
