SCOTS MEN'S TEAM QUALIFY FOR EUROPEAN 

CHAMPIONSHIP FLIGHT

Only Scotland's men's squad made it through to a European team championship flight as our boys, girls and women could do no better than qualify for Flight B match-play status in Berlin.
Veteran Euan McIntosh and Ryan Lumsden were the Scots heroes in the second stroke play qualifying round. 
They both shot four-under-par 68s enabling Scotland, with a team total of 709, to qualify in sixth place for the championship flight in which they will meet third placed Denmark in the first round of the match-play.
 Sweden and English were joint top qualifiers on the 693 mark.

The Scots' individual totals were:
140 E McIntosh 72 68. 141 S Scott 69 72. 144 S Easton 72 72, J Stewart 71 73. 145 E Walker 73 72, E Lumsden 77 68.

Scotland's women's team, competing at Murhof GC, Austria, finished 11th of 19 with a 721 total.
The Scots' scores were:
139 H McCook 66 73. 143 S McWilliam 69 74. 148 G Batty 77 71, C Goadby 75 73. 149 E Briggs 78 71.

Scotland's boys team finished a dismal 14th of 16 at a Czech Republic venue. They totalled 747.
Scots' scores were:
144 C McKinney 76 68. 148 G Heath 75 73. 149 J Broun 76 73. 155 R Lindsay 76 79. 156 C Scott 80 76. 160 G Dalziel 75 85.

The Scotland girls' team finished 12th of 19 at Forsgardens Golf Club, Sweden
Scots' scores were:
146 H Darling 73 73. 149 L Duncan 76 73. 155 L McClymont 78 77. 157 K Brodie 77 80. 160 C Griffiths 82 78. 161 J Rankine 85 76.
